RiverVision Leadership Project

We offer interdisciplinary learning to build new conservation leaders.

We launched the RiverVision Leadership Project in 2010 to build students’ critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership skills around the complexity of stewarding our Great Rivers. Our aim is for RiverVision students to appreciate issues surrounding the stewarding of water resources, understand how effective leadership can result in positive environmental change, hone their leadership skills, and think critically towards potential conservation solutions.

RiverVision focuses on students and schools from marginalized communities in North St. Louis County, north St. Louis City, and Madison County, IL.

Funding from Boeing, Emerson, MSD Project Clear, Phillips 66, and our individual supporters makes it possible to provide this program free of cost, including transportation, for schools that could not otherwise afford learning opportunities like RiverVision!
