The seventh-grade Ecosystems and Web of Life program at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary encourages students to explore how energy moves through ecosystems and which limiting factors impact the food web and the ability of organisms to survive in the wild.
Led by experienced educators and Audubon naturalists, students will participate in a guided hike through four distinct habitats along the boardwalk and engage in a variety of hands-on activities at stations in the outdoor classroom.
All activities are linked to the Sunshine State’s seventh-grade curriculum standards.
Teachers are provided with an overview of the program, sample lessons, and classroom materials.
