Get Involved at Randall Davey Audubon Center

Building Community

There are many ways to get involved in wildlife and habitat conservation at the sanctuary! We rely on community members to meet our mission in several ways.

Volunteers engage and educate visitors from around the world, inspire the next generation of conservation stewards, support the stewardship and restoration of natural landscapes, and more!

One of the main missions of the Randall Davey Audubon Center is to provide opportunities for our community to engage with us, whether through volunteer work days in the garden, continuing learning programs, or employment. We collaborate frequently with other organizations throughout Santa Fe and New Mexico,

We hope to foster a community of folks who care for and advocate on behalf of birds, wildlife, and this beautiful landscape. Whether your passion is native plants, engaging with the public, or graphic design, we could always use help.

Bird Walk Leaders

Our volunteers are the backbone of our center! They help with everything from regular weekly shifts in the visitor center, leading bird walks, nature hikes, and historic house tours, to maintaining our acres of gardens and trails.
