Keara Hudler

Mackenzie Fellow

Keara Hudler is a lifelong Texan who grew up in the Rio Grande Valley. In May of 2018, Hudler graduated from Southwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and minors in Spanish and Economics. During her time at Southwestern University, Hudler was a leader of the Students for Environmental Activism and Knowledge organization. She is fiercely passionate about making environmental education accessible to everyone as well as helping people form positive relationships with the places they live, work, learn, and play. Her other interests include yoga, vegan comfort food, and all-things related to Iceland. During her Mackenzie Fellowship, Hudler is most excited about helping high school students develop a passion for environmental issues that leads them to become activists in their own communities.
