Follow these simple tips to banish phantom energy from your home!

Turn off and unplug appliances that aren’t in use
Buy local, in-season food whenever possible
Skip the heated dry cycle on the dishwasher
Choose energy saving appliances

With support from Toyota through our Toyota TogetherGreen program, Audubon is working across the country to help communities and individuals reduce their energy use and save money.

For example, Florida’s Orange Audubon Society is helping low-income residents implement energy efficiency measures. Nearly 1,000 tons of carbon emissions could be avoided through these efforts.
