Enter for a chance to win “Project Puffin: The Improbable Quest to Bring a Beloved Seabird Back to Egg Rock” by Stephen W. Kress and Derrick Z. Jackson, published by Yale University Press. Retail Value: $30.00
Project Puffin is the inspiring story of how a beloved seabird was restored to long-abandoned nesting colonies off the Maine coast at the Hog Island Audubon Camp.
Here’s how it works:
1. Visit the National Audubon Society Facebook page on June 11, 2015, and leave a comment that guesses what date the Atlantic Puffin egg will hatch on Audubon’s explore.org live puffin cam. Just one comment per person, please.
2. Audubon will select the prize winner this way:
a. If one person correctly guesses the answer, s/he is the winner.
b. If multiple people correctly guess, one name from that group will be randomly selected to win the prize.
c. If no one guesses correctly, we will choose the person with the closest guess as the winner.
d. A second prize winner will be chosen by a random drawing from the pool of all submissions remaining.
We'll announce the winner on our Facebook page (pending permission).
It’s that easy!
Full terms and conditions are below. Happy guessing!
