Benjamin Beal

Benjamin is the Conservation Program Manager at the Appleton-Whittell Research Ranch near the town of Elgin in southeastern Arizona.

The Research Ranch is a living laboratory established originally by the Appleton family to gain a better scientific understanding of the land. Benjamin works closely with volunteers, school groups, government agency partners, and researchers to maintain this legacy of commitment to scientific understanding and love for the land. He is a Jack-Of-All-Trades keeping equipment, vehicles, tractors, facilities, and the office running smoothly.
