Charli Kohler-Prodzinsky

Range Ecologist
About

Charli joined Audubon in November 2021, as a range ecologist covering central and western North Dakota. Her primary focus is working with private landowners to provide financial and technical assistance that enhances habitat and conservation in the state and to expand Audubon’s Working Lands Programs, including the Prairie Management Toolbox, Conservation Forage Program, and Audubon Conservation Ranching.

Growing up on a ranch in central North Dakota led her to appreciate the outdoors and how unique and important the prairie is. She has spent her career in the state including working seasonally for Fish and Wildlife Service and The Nature Conservancy. This led her to a full-time partnership position between Ducks Unlimited and the Fish and Wildlife Service where she worked for over 5 years as a Conservation Specialist, securing conservation easements for perpetual protection of wetland and grassland habitats on private lands before starting at Audubon.

Charli works from home northwest of Jamestown, ND where her and her husband ranch and raise their two young kids.
