Chris Dragisic

Managing Director, Global Policy

Chris Dragisic is Audubon's first Managing Director for Global Policy. In this role she is responsible for enhancing Audubon's presence in global policy discussions, and for facilitating the integration of conservation and climate policy at all levels of Audubon's work in the Western hemisphere. Chris joined Audubon from the U.S. Department of State, where she served most recently as Branch Chief for Partnerships and Initiatives. Her focus included international climate change negotiations; policies and programs related to climate change, forests, and land use; and supporting countries in setting and achieving ambitious climate targets, amongst other issues. Prior to this, Chris worked at Conservation International, partnering with the private sector to advance sustainable agriculture, biofuels, and forestry programs around the world. She also worked in the Latin America region of the World Bank on protected area, biodiversity, forestry, and climate programs throughout the hemisphere.
