Jaylen Besse

Jay Besse works with the conservation team on invasive plants, prescribed fire, and more.

Jay is a Floridian passionate about land stewardship and wildlife conservation. At the University of Florida, he studied Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, steering him down the path of working for nature. He joins Audubon after internships with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at St. Marks and Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuges.
