Lindsey Lee joined Audubon Great Plains in August 2022 as Operations Manager for the Fargo office, where she collaborates with teams across the Dakotas to manage grants and keep programs running smoothly. Before joining Audubon, Lindsey served on the board of a local conservation nonprofit in North Dakota and became a Master Gardener through North Dakota State University. These experiences deepened her passion for conservation and inspired her to pursue a career in bird protection and habitat restoration.
A lifelong learner, Lindsey enjoys expanding her knowledge of the natural world through her colleagues, landowners, and partners—and by spending time outdoors birding. She holds a degree in Graphic Design and Marketing from Minnesota State University Moorhead (2014) and previously helped start and manage several family-run businesses in Fargo before transitioning to the conservation field.
Lindsey continues to live and work in her close-knit Fargo community with her partner, Matt. Together, they love planning trips, hosting elaborate gatherings for friends, and exploring new places in their camper van. When she’s not traveling, Lindsey can be found biking around town or identifying new bird species in her backyard.
