Rachel Hawes

Rachel is a Charleston, SC native with over a decade of experience in outreach and engagement in conservation. She holds a B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology from the University of Georgia and a Master's in Environmental Studies from the College of Charleston.

Rachel has worked for several conservation organizations throughout her career including the Coastal Conservation League, The Nature Conservancy and SCDNR - building expertise in marine conservation, partnership collaboration, and stewardship. Aside from work, Rachel spends most of her time outdoors through surfing, hiking, fishing and traveling.
