Scarlet

Scarlet was admitted in 2016 with a fractured right coracoid from a gunshot wound. Though shooting wild raptors is illegal, we do have a significant number of gunshot patients.

There are two female Red-tailed Hawks living at the Center: Scarlet and Spike. Scarlet is the younger of the two, and her coloring matches most Red-tailed Hawks in the wild.
