Rangeland Technician- Columbia Plateau
About

Throughout her professional career, Shannon’s focus has been on protecting ecosystems and connecting people with the natural world. Shannon first found her love for birds working for Audubon Florida, monitoring nesting shore birds. More recently, she worked to connect her passions at a local conservation district in Douglas County, where she not only got to work to protect birds but also to help enhance private lands. She is excited to continue protecting birds and working with private landowners to implement conservation strategies. In her free time, you can find her hiking, backpacking, or teaching youth martial arts classes.
