Tim Duclos is a Conservation Ecologist with Audubon Vermont, specializing in forest bird conservation and management. Born and raised in Vermont, Tim brings a lifelong connection to the land to his work, combining ecological science with practical forestry. He earned his MSc. at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, conducting research with the USFS Northern Research Station and USGS Climate Adaptation Science Center on how climate and forest dynamics shape bird communities across the White Mountain National Forest. Tim helps landowners, natural resource practitioners, and public agencies integrate bird-friendly, climate-informed practices into forest management, advancing stewardship that balances biodiversity, resilience, and people. He lives and works from his home, located on 35 wooded acres in Dorset, VT, with his wife and two children (one human and one K-9).
