William Walker VI

William Walker VI has built his career on public and private sector collaboration to accelerate biodiversity. Passionate about regenerative agriculture, he is focused on enhancing a program that blends sustainability expertise with community impact.

Walker works in market avenues that incentivize bird-friendly management through the Audubon Conservation Ranching program’s certification, Audubon Certified Bird-Friendly Land. He identifies and builds strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in beef and bison supply chains, including grass-fed finishers, aggregators, processors, distributors, retailers at national, regional, and local levels.

Trained at the University of Oxford’s Smith School (MSc, Sustainability, Enterprise and the Environment) and Arizona State University (BS, Sustainability), his work has focused on scaling nature-based solutions through creative market channels, including the food sector. William has supported conservation and technology industries in sustainable sourcing, working with companies on due diligence, enhancing supply chain functions for Scope 3 suppliers, decarbonization & zero-waste strategies, nature-based financial disclosures & biodiversity reporting.

In his free time, William enjoys photography, gardening, volunteering at local nonprofits (including Audubon!), and participating in his local art walk. He lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
