Host your next special event in a beautiful setting with an important cause. Whether hosting your wedding, celebration of life for a beloved family member, or interagency meeting, we are happy to welcome our community up to the Randall Davey Audubon Center and Sanctuary. All revenue from facility rentals directly supports the protection and conservation of the Center and sanctuary, including programs to educate children about the natural world, habitat restoration and protection, maintenance of the historic property, buying bird seed, and more!
Currently, the David Jay Henderson Pavilion, Historic Lawn, Classroom, and Perch may be rented for private events. Please review the page below for venue details and current fees. The classroom is only available for city, county, state, federal, and non-profit organizations. Please find information on renting the Treehouse at the Nature Discovery Area for children's birthday parties on this page.

The 2,320 sq ft solar-powered David Jay Henderson Pavilion includes a catering station, projector and screen, the use of 60” round tables, 6 high boy tables for portal, and metal folding chairs. Just outside the front door is the gorgeous and serene lawn, orchard, gardens and historic Randall Davey home and studio.
The Pavilion, lawn, and orchard are available for your special event from 8:00 am – dusk, full days only, Monday - Saturday. Rental includes use of the public restrooms and a dressing room. Guests must provide their own PA system, table linens, and decorations. The guest party may provide catering service and/or an appropriately-sized tent (with heaters if desired) from outside vendors at additional rental cost. The guest party is responsible for clean-up and removal of trash off the premises, and other stipulations as described in the Rental Contract.
Our 1,200 square foot classroom is equipped with a full kitchen and access to our public restrooms. Rental hours are between 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Saturday. Half-days are available. We have padded folding chairs and tables to accommodate up to 60 guests, as well as a projector and screen. The guest party may provide food and drink with associated service items at no extra cost and is responsible for clean-up and removal of trash off the premises. Regular use of the classroom for educational activities means its rental availability is limited.

RDAC offers a special outdoor venue for small gatherings of up to 30 guests. The Perch is ¼ mile up the loop trail, nestled in piñon-juniper woodland, and offers sweeping views of the Santa Fe Canyon. The Perch is an open-sided shelter atop a wooded hill. Rental hours are between 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday – Saturday. Half-days are available.
The Center is open to the public Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:00PM. There are no Sunday rentals. Scheduled events on the main grounds may be extended until dusk by prior arrangement. Audubon staff will be on site for every event to ensure that facility needs are met. All rental fees must be paid in full 30 days in advance of the event. If the event is scheduled less than 30 days in advance, special arrangements must be made for advance payment. Special rates for non-profits and partners are available. RDAC is closed during the entire month of January and for major holidays.
Each rental requires a reservation deposit, as well as a security / cleaning deposit, to be paid upon securing a date for the event. The reservation deposit is ½ of the total rental rate. The security/cleaning deposit is also ½ of the total rental rate. Either deposit may be forfeited if the event is cancelled or if the site is not left in adequate condition, as stipulated in the rental contract.
