October 9-11, 2026, join Audubon chapter leaders, volunteers, staff, and partners for the Audubon Council of Washington (ACOW) in Bellingham.

This year marks an important milestone: we're halfway through Audubon's Flight Plan, our ambitious strategic plan for birds and the places they need. ACOW 2026 is an opportunity to pause, reflect on what we've accomplished together, and focus on where we go next.

Schedule at a Glance

October 5–9 | Bellingham Bird Week

Hosted by North Cascades Audubon Society, Bird Week will feature bird walks, community events, educational programs, and celebrations across the city. Bird Week is designed to welcome both longtime birders and people who are just discovering birds and conservation.

October 9 | WSACC Meeting & Public Keynote

The Washington State Audubon Conservation Council (WSACC) will meet to discuss statewide conservation priorities, resolutions, and advocacy efforts. The evening will conclude with a public keynote address celebrating birds, migration, and conservation.

October 10 | ACOW 2026

For registered participants. The Saturday program will feature collaborative discussions, strategic breakout sessions, chapter recognition, and opportunities to shape the future of Audubon's conservation work in Washington.

October 11 | Field Trips

For registered participants. Explore the birds, habitats, and conservation stories of northwest Washington through a variety of optional field trips hosted by local experts and partners.
