Ptarmigan Eggs on the Tundra...Probably

Today we came across these eggs on the arctic tundra. Best guess of the local bird expert is that it's a willow ptarmigan nest. We didn't see an adult around, so we couldn't tell what species is gestating inside the eggs. Any guesses?
