Use LocationThis plant goes by many names, including Red, Yellow, Coral, Hummingbird, or Redflower False Yucca, and Samandoque. Not actually a yucca, this perennial produces 2 to 3 foot long, evergreen leaves, crowded at the short base. Coral-colored, tubular flowers bloom out of arching, pink stems, attracting wildlife including deer and hummingbirds. This plant is drought resistant, growing in full sun, and in a variety of dry soils, from sandy soil to loam and clay.
