About

Brady joined Audubon in February of 2023 as the Education Coordinator for Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center. His primary focus is leading on and offsite education programs such as field trips, summer camps, and other programs and events. Before coming to Audubon, Brady was an Educator, Camp Educator, and Avian Outreach Technician with Powdermill Nature Reserve and Powdermill’s Avian Research Center. There he helped lead outdoor education and banded birds for ongoing research.

Originally from PA, Brady received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Clarion University. He later received a Master of Science in Parks and Resource Management and a Master of Education in Environmental Education from Slippery Rock University an hour north of Pittsburgh, PA. He is passionate about inspiring and educating the next generation of conservation scientists.

Brady is a published wildlife photographer and does graphic design, digital art, nature journaling, sketching, and painting. If you need to find him, look for the person in the middle of nowhere with binoculars and a huge camera.

His spark bird is the Northern Flicker and a few favorites include the American Bittern, Ruffed Grouse, and Northern Saw-whet Owl.
