Daly Edmunds

Director, Policy and Outreach, Audubon Rockies
About

Daly Edmunds works on a variety of policy-related issues. She has the privilege of engaging with government representatives, conservation organizations, and community leaders throughout Rockies' three-state region (Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming) and across the West. Utilizing the strengths of Audubon and working with partners, Daly strives to find sound management solutions that are based on science and benefit the birds and communities that depend on healthy lands and waters. North America’s largest contiguous ecosystem and backbone for much of the West, the sagebrush ecosystem, makes up a large part of her portfolio. Daly also serves as the chapter relationship manager for Audubon Rockies, acting as a liaison between Audubon and the 19 affiliated chapters in our states.

Daly received her master's in zoology and physiology from the University of Wyoming, on pronghorn antelope research in southwestern Wyoming. Prior to joining Audubon in 2009, she worked for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, National Wildlife Federation, and Wyoming Wildlife Federation. She has a long history with The Wildlife Society, an association of wildlife professionals, which currently includes serving on the Central Mountains and Plains Section board.
