Lotem Taylor
As a GIS and Data Science Specialist for Audubon, Lotem Taylor leads spatial analyses for both the Migratory Bird Initiative and Conservation Science teams. Lotem’s work has focused on building climate suitability models and mapping migration patterns for hundreds of bird species. She enjoys working in R and developing automated workflows to manage and analyze large datasets spanning the Western Hemisphere.
Prior to joining Audubon in 2015, Lotem worked on a variety of research and conservation projects, including land conservation in the San Francisco Bay Area with the Peninsula Open Space Trust, anadromous fish conservation with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and wildlife research with the Bartolome and Brashares Groups at UC Berkeley. Lotem holds a Bachelor’s degree in Conservation & Resource Studies from UC Berkeley.
