Luisa Santos Martinez is the Digital Marketing Manager for Audubon's Rockies and Southwest regions.
Luisa is a communications strategist, multimedia artist and storyteller whose work lives at the intersection of community, culture, advocacy, and conservation. With a Bachelor's Degree in documentary filmmaking from Arizona State University and her own video production business, Luisa has spent her career using film, design, writing, and digital media to make complex issues more accessible, human-centered, and actionable. Her work has ranged in various non-profits at a local, binational, and national level that is focused on arts accessibility, youth empowerment, economic and public polices that support children and families, and community well being.
When not at work, Luisa is actively involved in supporting different community spaces while immersing herself in nature with camping and hiking, working in community gardens, experimenting with music such as guitar and piano, and spending down time watching movies or playing video games.
Luisa is looking forward to merging her passions for land stewardship and conservation with her digital background to support the Rockies and Southwest regions.
From her homeland of Colombia, the Scarlet Macaw is her favorite bird, but from living in the Southwest, the Red-tailed Hawk also holds a special place.
