Stacy Lee DeHart is a boomerang Mainer, having spent over 30 years in Oregon where she gained experience in event management and administrative coordination. Her career includes positions in higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, and arts programming, with a consistent focus on creating well-organized, inclusive, and impactful experiences for a wide range of audiences.
Most recently, Stacy served as the Campus Scheduler and Administrative Coordinator at Bowdoin College, where she managed campus-wide scheduling systems, supported external programs, and played a key role in student housing coordination and event execution. Her prior work includes extensive event planning and AV support at the University of Oregon and M.I.T., as well as running her own music talent agency, booking national and international tours for independent musicians.
Stacy holds a B.A. in Broadcasting Production from the University of Maine at Orono. In addition to her professional roles, she has contributed to numerous volunteer initiatives—ranging from youth group leadership to co-founding benefit concert series and serving on arts and education advisory boards.
At the Seabird Institute, Stacy supports the organization's day-to-day operations by processing invoices, tracking expenditures, managing small gift donations, and helping coordinate our popular puffin adoption program.
In returning home to New England, she can confidently say that the west coast is majestic, but Maine is sublime and she’s happy to be home.
