Trish Kerner is a range ecologist for Audubon’s Conservation Ranching initiative. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Montana State University and her master’s degree from Idaho State University, specializing in environmental microbiology. Trish has interdisciplinary research experience in areas such as water quality, vegetation restoration, and nutrient cycling in soils. She has also worked in the private and nonprofit sectors, helping translate science in ways that promote land stewardship within her local communities. Outside of work, you can find her cooking for friends, telemark skiing at her local hill, fishing, or exploring trails.
