Claire received her Master of Arts in multi-platform journalism at Fordham University, where she studied how social media can be used for coalition building. Before joining Audubon, she worked at the New York City Council and Mayor’s Office.

Claire developed a strong birding hobby during the pandemic, which drew her to Audubon, knowing it was the perfect intersection of her skills and interests. Now, she’s excited to take others on a similar journey. Her goal is to create content that will entertain, educate, and show even the most amateur naturalists how they can become dedicated advocates for birds and the habitats they live in.

When she’s not busy, Claire likes to go on nature walks in her nearby parks, discover and listen to new music, get creative in the kitchen, and play slice-of-life video games like The Sims, Animal Crossing, and Stardew Valley.
