The National Audubon Society is thrilled to collaborate with outdoor apparel brand Parks Project in bringing The Aviary to life at this year’s Culver City Art Walk & Roll, as part of a special exhibition. Audubon’s The Aviary is a series of commissioned artwork in which artists explore the intersection of birds and art as a catalyst for shifting perspectives and perceptions—and ultimately, to drive conservation action for birds and our planet. Artwork from this series is included on the back page of every issue of Audubon magazine, which Audubon members receive quarterly as a benefit of their support. Stop by to see the free public exhibition, learn more about the project, and purchase prints of the artwork, available for this limited-time event.
Parks Project is proud to support the National Audubon Society and its mission to protect birds and the places they need, today and tomorrow. The Parks Project Discovery Center in Culver City serves as a dynamic space connecting outdoor enthusiasts and environmental advocates. Collaborations like this forward our mutual mission to drive education, advocacy, and volunteering opportunities that help protect our birds and our planet.
The Culver City Art Walk & Roll is an annual event taking place throughout Culver City Arts District, including a designated street closure that stretches along the Arts District (Washington Blvd will be closed between La Cienega Ave and Hutchison Ave). In addition to checking out our own exhibit, attendees can visit many other established art galleries with special installations, explore the popup marketplace featuring arts and crafts vendors, and enjoy the neighborhood block party.
