Help restore habitat for birds at the Rio Salado Audubon Center!
Spend a few hours outdoors making a difference for birds and their habitat at the Rio Salado Audubon Center in South Phoenix. Volunteer projects vary throughout the year and may include invasive plant removal, trail maintenance, seed collection, plant installation, painting, and litter cleanup.
Volunteers meet at 8:00 a.m. for a brief orientation before beginning work. Activities typically continue until 10:00 a.m., but participants are welcome to stay for as long as they’d like.
The site is conveniently located next to the Rio Salado Audubon Center, which offers free admission, restrooms, water fountains, and indoor space for breaks.
