Science, Nature & a Biscuit: Artist Talk and Live Painting with Erin M. Linton

Join us for a special edition of Science, Nature & a Biscuit featuring acclaimed wildlife artist Erin M. Linton of Orphan Girl Fine Art. Inspired by a lifelong connection to wildlife rehabilitation and conservation, Erin creates distinctive portraits of birds and animals using gouache on reclaimed tea bags, transforming everyday materials into deeply personal works of art. Her paintings celebrate the individuality of the animals she has encountered and cared for throughout her life.

During this engaging presentation, Erin will share the stories behind her work, her unique artistic process, and how her experiences rehabilitating wildlife have shaped her creative practice. Attendees will gain insight into the connections between art, nature, and conservation while enjoying conversation, learning, and, of course, a biscuit.

Before and after the lecture, visitors are invited to stop by the park to watch Erin create a live painting demonstration, offering a rare opportunity to see her artistic process unfold in real time.

You are officially registered only if you receive a confirmation email from Mobilize stating your status as “Registered.” Shortly before the event, you will receive a notice to "Confirm" your registration.

If you are on the waitlist, you are not registered unless you receive a separate notification informing you that you have been moved from the waitlist to registered status.

If you have not received a “Registered” confirmation email at least 24 hours prior to the event, you did not secure a spot in the program. Please do not come by anticipating no-shows.
