Green Heart, also known as Snake-bark, is an evergreen, perennial shrub that can grow up to 7 feet tall. This plant blooms in a pale yellow or pale green color from late summer to early fall, producing white and yellow, star-shaped flowers. Drought tolerant, this plant grows in full sun to partial shade, and in moist to dry loam and limestone soils. It attracts a variety of wildlife, including butterflies and bees, as well as mammals and birds that eat the seeds.
