Holly-Leaf Buckthorn

Also known as Redberry Buckthorn, this evergreen shrub grows up to 2 feet tall and 6 feet wide. It produces small flowers in February and March, followed by bright red berries that appeal to numerous bird species. This plant is drought tolerant and can grow in full sun to partial shade, and in dry, well-drained soils.
