This evergreen, perennial tree grows up to 10 feet tall. It has a short trunk, and dense, spreading branches that sprout spiny-toothed leaves, white flower spikes, and red or dark purple fruits. Holly Leaf Cherry thrives in full sun and in dry, rocky soils.
