This plant is also known as Pretty Dalea, Bush Dalea, and Santa Catalina Prairie Clover. A perennial shrub, it can grow up to 4 feet tall. It has tiny, gray, oval leaves and deep purple flowers that bloom February through April and attract bees and other pollinators. It grows in full sun to partial shade and needs a medium amount of watering.
