Audubon in Action

Let's Go Birding Together!

June is Pride Month, and Audubon is celebrating with Let's Go Birding Together bird walks and other LGBTQIA++ inclusive activities

The arrival of June marks Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month, usually just shortened to Pride Month. Celebrations include pride parades, picnics, parties, and, in the case of Audubon, bird walks. Our Let's Go Birding Together series was founded and organized by Jason St. Sauver, Community Education director at Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center in Denton, Nebraska. Other Audubon sites across the country have joined Jason in creating inclusive birding events.

Let's Go Birding Together walks are for everyone who loves birds and the outdoors. We welcome those who identify as LGBTQIA++, allies, families, and anyone who wants to enjoy an outdoor experience that is inclusive.
