This year's theme, Washington's Flight Plan: A Critical Stop on the Journey, focuses on conservation leadership and our shared goals that protect birds across Washington.
Hosted by North Cascades Audubon Society, Bird Week will feature bird walks, community events, educational programs, and celebrations across the city. Bird Week is designed to welcome both longtime birders and people who are just discovering birds and conservation.
The Washington State Audubon Conservation Council (WSACC) will meet to discuss statewide conservation priorities, resolutions, and advocacy efforts. The evening will conclude with a public keynote address celebrating birds, migration, and conservation.
The Saturday program will feature collaborative discussions, strategic breakout sessions, chapter recognition, and opportunities to shape the future of Audubon's conservation work in Washington.
Explore the birds, habitats, and conservation stories of northwest Washington through a variety of optional field trips hosted by local experts and partners.
Situated along the Pacific Flyway and surrounded by exceptional birding opportunities, Bellingham is an ideal place to gather and reflect on our shared conservation mission. From shorelines and estuaries to forests and farmland, the region showcases the habitats and landscapes that make Washington a critical place for birds.
