Erica Goldfinger

Dangermond Fellow

Erica graduated from the University of Miami receiving a B.S. with dual majors in Ecosystem Science & Policy and Geography & Sustainable Development, and a minor in Public Health. During her last two years of school, she worked as a research assistant studying how geographic segregation and environmental factors interact with health disparities.

As a part of the Dangermond Fellowship's 7th cohort, she is excited to apply her GIS skills to conservation and policy efforts and to learn new skills such as Python and Model Builder. In her free time, she enjoys solving the New York Times crossword puzzles, exploring new trails, and hanging out with her dog Hunter.

Erica's favorite birds include... Swallow-tailed Kites, Anhingas, and Ibises!
