Mary Beth leads Audubon's staff in financial planning & analysis, grant management and compliance, accounting and payables, contracts & compliance, and gift processing. Since joining Audubon, Mary Beth has reorganized Audubon’s accounts to provide greater clarity on programmatic spending, and focused on providing increased support for Audubon leaders. She has created a flyway-wide model including a flyway finance director, grant specialist and local business management. She has led efforts to provide more sophisticated tools for budgeting and reporting, and to automate functions for both cost savings and greater accuracy. Mary Beth understands the importance of meticulous financial management to project completion and organizational efficiency—and to donor confidence.
Mary Beth joined Audubon in 2013 after five years as the CFO of City Harvest, a food rescue organization in New York City. Before that, she spent 14 years in investment banking and treasury at Merrill Lynch and five years at Chase Manhattan Bank. She has an MBA in Finance from New York University, and a BA in English Literature from the University of Virginia.
