Miranda McCall

Dangermond Fellow

Miranda completed her undergraduate at Boise State University with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and a minor in Sustainability. During her time there, she interned as a Conservation Education Intern with The Peregrine Fund at the World Center for Birds of Prey, furthering her love of birds and conservation efforts. She then attended University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as an Urban Planning graduate student with a certificate in GIS before joining Audubon's Enterprise GIS Team as a Dangermond Fellow.

As part of the Fellowship's 7th cohort, she is excited further her knowledge base with new skills such as Python and ArcGIS Hub, and to apply her GIS skills to conservation and restoration projects. In her free time, Miranda enjoys climbing at her local gym and bringing her dog (and sometimes cat) on outdoor adventures.

Miranda's favorite birds include... Gyrfalcons, Turkey Vultures, and American Kestrels!
