Join us at the Green Mountain Audubon Center to walk our trails and participate in data collection for Caterpillars Count.

Caterpillars Count is a community science project designed to help scientists better understand the timing and availability of caterpillars and other arthropods. Nesting birds depend on arthropods for food, and climate change driven shifts can cause misalignment of bird migration and arthropod abundance. The data collected at this event will help protect caterpillars and birds!

Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about becoming a regular Caterpillars Count volunteer at the center.
