Guided Riparian Bird Walk

Join Audubon Vermont and Poultney Mettowee Natural Resources Conservation District for a guided bird walk! Learn about management efforts that have improved riparian habitats for birds and other wildlife and helped enhance water quality and erosion control.

Participants will also learn about riparian buffer plantings, including plant species that support birds, and overall ecosystem health.

Enjoy some time outdoors with bird and watershed professionals while birding and exploring. This event and work are funded by a National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) grant to UVM, Audubon Vermont, and several Vermont watershed organizations.
