Our local Purple Martin Stewards, Robert & Sandy Pavey & Catherine Ward, will be dockside at Oyster Plant Park for our monthly data collection and colony check-in. This is a low-key, focused hour dedicated entirely to these remarkable aerial acrobats. No hiking or traveling required—just pull up a spot and enjoy the view!
What to Expect:
Up-Close Glimpses: Get a front-row seat to the Martins as they dive, socialize, and tend to their nests.
Science in Action: Watch our stewards perform monthly data recording and learn how we monitor the health of the colonies.
