Ashley Meadows

Communications Manager, Audubon Rockies and Audubon Southwest
About

Ashley Meadows is the communications manager for Audubon Rockies—covering Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming—and Audubon Southwest, encompassing Arizona and New Mexico. She joined the National Audubon Society team in 2021, working in the Rockies region, expanding her role in 2026 to include the Southwest. She brings a lifelong love of Western wildlife and habitats to the organization.

Born and raised in northern Colorado, Ashley graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she studied communication and biology. Guided by the principle that people are inspired to protect what they understand and care about, she is passionate about helping others find curiosity and joy in birds and nature. Through creating and uplifting opportunities to enjoy, learn about, and help birds, Ashley believes we can support healthier, more connected bird and human communities. In addition to communications, she has worked in wildlife rehabilitation, volunteer coordination, and business administration.

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys birding, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
