Kawai Marin

Walker Communications Fellow

Kawai Marin is a conservationist by training and an environmentalist at heart. Marin firmly believes that people - regardless of identity - are an integral part of the environment and not apart from it. As a Walker Communications Fellow, he will use this philosophy to drive his work as a visual storyteller and report on issues pertinent to wildlife conservation and climate change. In addition to written work, Kawai will construct a series of story maps in hopes of visually capturing the collective change sparked by individual action.
