*This walk will run from April - June*
Each spring, Seward Park becomes a lively stopover for birds traveling north along the Pacific Flyway. Join us for a relaxed and curious guided walk focused on the migrants passing through, from colorful warblers and energetic swallows to thrushes, vireos, and other travelers returning to their breeding grounds as the days grow longer.
Over the course of this 2-hour walk (covering less than 2 miles), naturalist and guide Nick Dujnic will take you on an exploration of Seward Park’s old-growth forest, lakeside habitat, and open waters—scanning treetops, listening for fresh spring songs, and watching for movement as birds refuel on their journey north.
Come experience the energy, color, and movement of spring migration—and meet the birds just passing through. Binoculars will be provided for those that don't have them
